Each cathedral in this collection has been lovingly hand crafted by Art Fiala, of Silverhill, Alabama. Art, a skilled craftsman, for over 7 decades, has built everything from about a million toy pirate swords for his 37 grandchildren & great grandchildren, to shrimp boats, and even homes!
Once constructed, the cathedrals are delivered to Laura Rice, of Ozark Alabama. Laura, is widely known for her breathtaking collage art. She painstakingly & meticulously creates each piece of collage by hand coloring the papers, cutting them and placing each piece. The crosses all receive a beautiful coating of gold leaf. The finishing touch being the resin which is hand poured over each cathedral giving it her signature shine!
Art Fiala & Laura Rice are truly a match made in Heaven. They both share a deep love for creating & the beauty of the word & promises of Jesus. Countless hours of love have been poured into each piece.
This beaded cathedral front features hand rolled beads, a gold leaf cross, two hand collaged windows & a resin finish. It measures approximately 13x4.5x2. It can be displayed by sitting or hanging on the wall. Each cathedral is handmade & unlike any of the others.
