While this piece has no identifying markings I belive it to be Italian or Portuguese. I also believe it to be an antique. The colors are truly magnificent. The intricate handles add so much interest & delicately detail. The base appears to be made from a clay & there are a few areas that show its age however the piece is very sturdy. A large platter it measures 17.5 x 12.
